Streetside Taco in Long Beach

The best tacos. Everytime we are in Long Beach we stop here everyday.

Unless you enjoy ignorant rants from employees about how "pointless" it is to learn Spanish and other languages I would highly suggest you steer clear. I was appalled as I stood there waiting for my burritos with my husband and two children when an older man came in and placed a very simple order in Spanish. Mr. Danial Craven decided to rudely proclaim that he "had no clue" what this man said and felt it was his place to explain his stance on foreign languages, (while working in a taco shop serving Mexican fare), stating that he doesn't believe in learning other languages and that if he were going to Mexico then he *might* consider learning Spanish. He even went on to explain that children should not have to learn other languages in school etc... I can not explain my disappointment in this establishment. This is a TACO shop!! Your ignorance is showing.

Good friendly service and good food.

It was good, but it would've been better if the beans were cooked all the way. Very very under cooked beans...meat and Pico was tasty. Size is very good.

Not terrible, but I don't think I would go back. Kind of meh for me.

Grabbed a quick couple tacos. They dressed our 2 tacos wrong so they offered to remake them. They were ok tacos I would try a burrito next time. The hot sauce had no spice.

The tacos were great and fresh. The Carne Asada was my favorite. The only downside is that the pulled pork had too many big chunks of fat. One taco was over half fat rather than pork. The rest was great!

Wonderful staff. Fresh, clean, delicious. Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. (Separate grills, utensils, ingredients, etc.)

Not the highest quality. Good. Not tourist good expensive taco. It just keeps you looking for better quality is all. Not the worst.

Very good burritos and tacos very comparable to Chipotle but in my opinion way better very flavorful food at Streetside taco

A very impressive meal from what appears to be a one-man establishment. House-made pickled vegetables, well seasoned meats and fresh accompaniments. Fast and friendly service. Maybe not a good choice for vegetarians, but I wouldn't expect that from a taco shop. Highly recommended.

Yummy food!

Food was awesome, fresh and from scratch. We came last year and it was good, this year it was great. We'll be coming back again. And if you've got special dietary needs you don't have to worry. Gluten free is a safe option.

Service was a bit slower but the food was ok. They however, were out of onion, which should be a staple for street tacos.I had the carnitas and asada, it was seasoned well, but was not earth-shattering like other authentic asada and carnitas that I've had. A heavier hand on the seasoning would be a benefit.

They sure were unhappy that we ordered a taco... But after they forced themselves through a negotiation of who was going to make the taco... And coming to us to explain why they had to have this negotiation... The taco was delicious... I guess you can subject yourself to this process and maybe get a good taco, too. Try your luck?

Good food, and the server was very friendly. The xbox was fun to play while we ate!

We like the chicken tacos and the huckleberry pop was real good

Had the breakfast burrito which was delicious, the staff was really nice. The only issue I had was the size of the burrito was on the smaller side for $5. Would definitely go here again to try out their lunch menu, just hope the portion to price ratio is a little better.

Great burrito! Worth the stop, I will be back for sure. Fresh ingredients, your food gets prepared right infront of you, clean place. I loved the "hot" hot sauce, it has perfect heat level. Didnt burn out my mouth at all. It has a deep flavor with a hint of fire roasted something (?) or chipotle (?), hard to tell but i LOVED it.Keep up the great work!Ps: if your claustrophobic send a friend in for you. Its a tiny waiting space inside. Not to an uncomfortable point for most though, and well worth it if there is a wait.

Small, clean little place. Has a phone for touristy selfies that are added to a slide show. Also a laptop to play games while you wait for your food. Average, typical street tacos. Cooked to order. Nice kid working when we went. Better than most the other taco places in town. If only because of how clean this place was.

Americanized tacos so if you're looking for authentic this isn't it. Also they are limited in options and don't think to cook the tortillas. I personally think it's ok but better saved for drunk nights. The guys that work there are cool though just could use some travel to see what real streetside tacos are like

They need an English menu, or have it say what the words mean. But the food was amazing

Had really good breakfest burritos, guy working there was really good and engaging.

Good food, fresh meat, hard worker, deserves more pay, should get a bigger building and new door, other than that i was satisfied. Thank you Streetside Tacos

First time visit to this cute little joint. Great service and the street tacos were flavorful and delicious. Cannot wait to visit Long Beach and have more of these great tacos again! Was NOT disappointed!!

Awesome place to stop at for a quick taco or burrito. We stopped by there while walking down the street and decided to try a burrito.... best decision we made! We got the carne asada burrito and it was so good. You're able to pick your toppings and then they warm it up for you! So good.

Place was clean and employees were friendly. Took all precautions for us when we told them we were vegetarian including sanitizing the counter and washing hands/changing gloves. Food was great and the Ghost Pepper sauce was amazing.

Had carne asada, chicken tinga, and carnitas tacos. All delicious, but the tinga especially. Flavorful tortillas. You pick the toppings from pico de gallo, cilantro, onion, cotija, grated jack & cheddar, salsa verde, and 3 heat levels of red salsa.

Being from Texas, we love our tacos and this place hit the spot. The carne asada burrito was great with great flavor. The toppings were fresh!

Short of 4 stars.......the food was great. Tasty and healthy... however both gentlemen were smoking cigarettes as we walked up to the location and neither of them washed their hands prior to making our tacos. 5 stars is perfection... they were not close. 4 stars is above average on all levels.3 stars for average and with this, that's where you would expect this to be.WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!!

Delicious and quick friendly staff

The chicken wasn't done on my mom's meal but my other two family members' food was. They all agreed however, that it tasted good. We'll see how their stomachs are later.

What an adorable little place! Spicy Korean and Bhan Mi tacos!? Loved them. The pickled vegetables were a great flavor profile with the spicey sauce. Covered in cilantro, which I love. The burrito had cotija cheese that really popped. If you want it hot just ask. Thank you for the experience.
